Piniella ready for changes?

Lou Piniella stated changes may be coming at his post game conference with the media. Could Lou be ready to move Alfonso Soriano out of the lead off spot, and maybe to second base? Piniella almost has to get Jake Fox some at bats, not to mention Micah Hoffpauir.
”It’s getting to the point where I’m going to have to start making some tough decisions and get different people in the lineup,” Piniella said after his team managed only five hits and an eighth-inning run Wednesday in a 4-1 loss to the White Sox. ”I mean, I’ve been real patient with it, but I tell you, it’s getting to that point.”
Piniella was short on details of a would-be shakeup, saying, ”We’ll see.”
But with no sign of outside help on the way and no sign of life from a slumping, veteran group of hitters, his options are dwindling faster than the run production of a lineup that has scored one or fewer runs in four of the last six games.
”I don’t know what kind of move he’s going to make tomorrow, but I think he’s the manager and he is mad so he knows what he has to do to try to make this team better,” Soriano said when asked whether he could be a target in a shakeup. ”He has to do something because we’re not doing nothing offensively.”

Hendry aleady messed with last years 97 win team, with disastrous results. Now its time for Lou to step up and manage what he has to work with. That means fielding the players who are presently your best players. It does not mean continuing to play your most expensive players, who happen to be doing nothing for the past 2 months.
