Jeff Dickerson reports some potential bad news for the Bears on the Plaxico Burress front. There may indeed be a trial during the 2009 season afterall. Dickerson also reported on “The Waddle and Silvy” show that Devin Hester looks like a different player in camp. Hester, he says has had a great offseason and could post numbers of 65 catches and close to 1000 receiving yards. Dickerson also speculated that Greg Olson could be Cutler’s main target and have a pro bowl season.
The New York Daily News is reporting a Manhattan grand jury will hear the case against Burress next month. This could change the legal timetable for Burress, possibly allowing for a trial in 2009.
