In need of a little help in the outfield, the Chicago White Sox have turned to an old friend
The White Sox have agreed to a minor-league deal with Scott Podsednik, one of the heroes of Chicago’s 2005 World Series team, according to a major-league source.
The move became necessary when center fielder Dewayne Wise left Monday’s game with a separated right shouler. Wise will be placed on the disabled list and is expected to miss six to eight weeks.
