Jim Hendry visited Dave Kaplan Friday night on Sports central. Hendry, for the first time sounded as if the Cubs sale would have an effect regarding on the field issues. Hendry apparently told Kaplan that the Cubs would be unable to pull off a Peavy deal without a new owner in place to approve the inheritance of the contract. More to follow.
