Tyrus Thomas was enjoying a dinner with friends at Joe’s Stone Crab in Chicago this weekend. Little did he know his defensive skills would be tested on his night off?
Just after being seated a local autograph seeking woman approached, a manager of Joe’s stepped in (to protect Thomas’ privacy). Her husband not too happy with the outcome, decided to go right back at the table, sent away by Thomas this time. The man then sent a note to the table that was intercepted by the Matri’d, went over for a third rejection and also threatened Thomas there would be a nasty column in the Chicago Tribune involving him the following day. Tension ensued until Joe’s management again had to step in.
