Color me stupid, but how can they actually block this from happening? If he has the money and offers it to the current Cubs owners, MLB simply won’t approve it?
If that’s the case, one would think Cuban’s aggressive nature would lead to a litigious ending.

He won’t because supposedly he will have a shot at another franchise if he behaves this time around. He also signed a non-litigious agreement.
