Why Hawks dismissed Savard so quickly

A Blackhawks source tells us the main reason the organ-i-zation dismissed Dennis Savard so early in the season.
The Hawks originally thought that the young team could develop steadily along with Savard. However, plans changed when Hawks brass came to a decision that this young team could compete for one of the top four spots in the Western Conference immediately. Enter Joel Quenneville.

As far as GM Dale Tallon is concerned, it seems they will evaluate him at seasons end.
